I should still be asleep

7.20 AM. Recovery day.

It is the day after one of the most amazing pastry weekends of my life. I survived the Charleston Food + Wine Festival! And I loved every stress saturated minute of it.

My body is still in wake up and get the heck to bustling about mode, but I am going to push past that and climb back in bed.

I'll write all about my experiences over the next couple of days.

Let me simply say that it's times like these that I understand that being a pastry chef in this little town is what I was meant to do. And, by gum, you can't beat that feeling with a stick.
